The Program
Day One 1.8. Arrival and introduction to the tours.
Day Two 2.8. In the morning, you will take a short hike on your own. Keeping with the water theme, for example, you might wish to hike from Schladming through Talbach Gorge to Rohrmoos, or to Riesach Waterfall in Untertal. In the afternoon, we will begin our half-day hike: a barefoot hike through forests and meadows to a Kneipp therapy area in Weissenbach.
Day Three 3.8. Ride by hiking taxi to Forstautal.
From the Vögeialm, we will hike along a narrow forest path, leading us across alpine meadows to the Oberhüttensee. As we circle the lake, we will find a pleasant bathing spot and hop into the crystal-clear water. Afterwards, we will enjoy a bite to eat at the Oberseehütte, a hut that's famous for its good food. Finally, we will make our way back along the forestry road.
Day Four 4.8. Guided hike organized by the Haus-Aich-Gössenberg Tourist Office
Day 5 5.8. Enjoy the day however you please, or a back-up day in case of inclement weather
Day 6 6.8. Wörschach Gorge
Ride by hiking taxi to Wörschach. At the foot of the Wolkenstein castle ruins, we will begin our tour. The path through the gorge is spectacular, though not particularly difficult. We will stop for refreshments at traditional Gasthof Oberkogler. On our way back, we will pay a brief visit to the castle ruins. During our return to the hotel, we will make a stop at the beautiful Salza Waterfall, where there is a Kneipp facility where we can reinvigorate our legs.
Day Seven 7.8.
3-Lakes Hike: Bodensee - Hüttensee - Obersee. We begin our most challenging tour at the Steirischer Bodensee. At the valley head, we start a sweat-inducing climb to the Hans-Wödl- Hütte, taking us past a picturesque waterfall. The Hüttensee, directly behind the hut, is ideal for a refreshing dip. Here, we will decide whether we want to take our refreshment break right away, or continue our hike out via Schleier Waterfall to the Obersee. We will return via the same route.
Day Eight 8.8.
Depart for home

The provisions of the Austrian Hotel Booking Conditions (AGBH) apply, with the exception of our relaxed cancellation conditions.
All bookings may be canceled or rebooked up to 30 days prior to scheduled arrival.
No reason is required.
Within 30 days, the following cancelation rules will apply:
- 29 to 14 days prior to arrival we charge 40% of the total price
- between 13 and 7 days prior to arrival, we charge 70% of the total price
- 6 days or less prior to arrival, or in the event of no-show, we charge 90% of the total price
