The ‘Goldlacken’ are comprised of a number of ponds or small lakes of various sizes. This scenic hike is a challenging but rewarding climb suited to more experienced and energetic hikers. The lower section of the trail is less demanding, then becoming more strenuous between the ‘Stierkarsee’ lake and the ‘Goldlacken’. The tour is guided by Peter Gürtl, our very own qualified mountain guide. Starting from the ‘Steirische Bodensee’ lake, and including one night’s stay in a mountain hut, this is an ideal mountain experience for keen hikers.
